WinCustomize Site for Byron Todd
My WC Site. I am somewhat new to skinning, but not new to computers. I've played with/around computers since 1982, professionally with computers since 1989 (worked for IBM). I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Auburn University '93.

It's been a long time since I've been around...

I used to have a Stardock store account but I couldn't find its password, so I used the reset password link.  I noticed that I had to use an email address which I no longer use (but can still access:  byron-port at-sign toddcomp dot com) so after re-logging in I went to the page to change my email address to my current one:  byrontodd at-sign gmail dot com.

Now I can't login at all (well except for here...)

I would really like to login to my previous account with my new email address so that I may purchase another OD subscription to fix this new Windows 8.1 system...

Can someone check / fix my Stardock.com store account please?

Thank you in advance.

This is my first blog at JoeUser.com.  I'm not new to blogging - at least not *brand* new - I've had a Blogger.com blog for most of this year.  I somewhat stopped blogging The Newbie Aquarist blog because of time constraints.  Recently, I haven't all of sudden come into a lot of time, rather I've decided that blogging didn't take up that much time - and hopefully, I won't get any further behind in work than I already was (so this is somewhat of a test).

All that said, I am new to the skinning community.  I purchased my Object Desktop - Network Edition in July, ran into some problems, was kindly helped out by "GreenReaper", and was instantly addicted to the community.  The more I used the Stardock products, and the more I talked with other users in IRC channel, the more I wanted to be involved in the community.  To that end, I purchased a WinCustomize.com subscription, and decided that my first involvement would be through testing, rating and commenting on WindowBlinds skins.  Through this involvement and help from others, I found skins that I loved, liked or even hated, and learned where to look for problems in existing skins.

Once I found a skin that I really liked - StealthOS by MikeB314 - I decided that I needed to have my whole computing environment match that one skin.  Unfortunately, my computing environment includes Trillian Pro.  I say unfortunately because I asked Mike for permission to port StealthOS to Trillian - and he gave me permission - but little did I know what I was getting myself into...

to be continued...
